CLASSES
Apple Strudel

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty in the kitchen! In this upcoming cooking class, students will have the opportunity to make their very own strudel dough from scratch, and then stretch it out by hand.

Once the dough is ready, students will learn how to wrap it around a variety of delicious fillings, from sweet fruit and nut combinations to savory meat and vegetable mixtures. As they work, they'll get a feel for the unique texture and elasticity of strudel dough, and learn how to manipulate it to create the perfect pastry.

Of course, making strudel dough is no easy feat - it takes a bit of practice and patience to get it just right. But with the guidance of an experienced chef, students will be well on their way to mastering this classic pastry dough.

By the end of the class, students will not only have a newfound appreciation for the art of strudel-making, but also a batch of delicious, handmade pastries to take home and enjoy. So why not sign up today and discover the joys of working with strudel dough for yourself?

Important notes about classes

If you're interested in taking a Sugar Glider class, there are a few important things to keep in mind. First and foremost, the minimum age requirement to attend is 18 years old. This is not just a preference, but a legal requirement mandated by insurance and licensing policies. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this rule.

Secondly, classes tend to sell out extremely quickly. In fact, they often sell out within minutes of being posted! However, cancellations are fairly common, so it's worth keeping an eye on Sugar Glider's Facebook page for any openings that may become available.

Assuming you're able to secure a spot in a class, you should plan to be there for about three hours, from 10am to 1pm. Of course, since everyone is having so much fun, the classes often run a bit over schedule. Just be sure to keep this in mind when making your plans for the day.

It's also worth noting that Sugar Glider does not offer private classes or maintain waitlists for their regular classes. So, if you're unable to attend a specific class, you'll need to keep an eye out for the next available opportunity.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, it's critical to remember that classes sell out extremely quickly. In fact, they often sell out within minutes of the newsletter being sent out. So, if you're interested in attending a Sugar Glider class, be sure to act fast and keep your eyes peeled for any available openings!
